Our company has been established to provide organisations with practical, professional and realistic training and consultancy across security, safety and compliance. Our Story

DTC was founded with a clear purpose: to bridge the gap between classroom learning and operational reality.
Too often, training becomes a “tick-box exercise”, with delegates attending courses simply to obtain a certificate. While certification is important, real competence comes from understanding how knowledge applies in practice.
Drawing on decades of experience across policing, the armed forces, healthcare, higher education, commercial security and international operations, DTC delivers training that reflects the environments people actually work in. Meet Our Director

Garry J. Carter

DTC is led by Garry J. Carter, a security professional with more than four decades of experience across the public and private sectors.
His career has included service within HM Forces, policing, international protective security operations and senior leadership roles within healthcare, higher education and commercial security.
Throughout his career, Garry has worked in environments where effective decision-making, leadership and risk management have been essential. This operational background now forms the foundation of every course and consultancy project delivered by DTC.

His experience includes:
